cannot_register_reason not showing was created by JC Pruijssers
Hello Tuan,
There should be a line in an event with the text cannot_register_reason in it.
But it is not displayed on my site.
I found the file /common/event_message.php, but I don't understand why it is not displayed (I'm not very good at PHP
)
Can you tell me what the requirements are to display this text?
PS: no rush...
Greetings,
Rob

Hi Job
That depends on the reason which the event is not available for registration. Could you please try to display the value of that one to see what's the current value?

There are a couple of reasons on my site why the text should be shown.
EB_NO_LONGER_ACCEPT_REGISTRATION because the registration period is done while the event did not take place yet
EB_LOGIN_TO_REGISTER when people are not logged but there are events open for registration
EB_YOU_REGISTERED_ALREADY when someone has already registered for the event and the double registration check is on
On none of this things I see a cannot_register_reason text on the default, list or timeline eventlist views.

Could you please go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Themes tab, make sure Display Message For Full OR Expired Event config option set to Yes and check it again? The message should be displayed

Tuan
