As designed? Cancellation message from waiting list

Hi,
when I cancel a registration for the waiting list in the backend, the e-mail template "User Registration Cancelled Email Subject" and "User Registration Cancelled Email Message" is used. I thought the template "Waiting List Cancel Confirmation Email Subject" & "Waiting List Cancel Confirmation Email Body"  should be used. Am I wrong?

I will have to think more about it. As of right now, the Waiting List Cancel Confirmation Email Subject and Waiting List Cancel Confirmation Email Body will be sent to registrants whey cancel their registration themself, not when admin cancel their registration

Try to handle it using conditional text feature. See docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/basi...tup/conditional-text

Something like:

{ebShowText [PUBLISHED]}This text will be shown if registrant is in waiting list{/ebShowText}
{ebShowText [PUBLISHED]~3}This text will be shown if registrant is not in waiting list{/ebShowText}

That should work for your need

Ok, it was 4 not 3...and it is not working in e-mail-subjects. But I think that will not be a big problem.

Ah, Yes. The email is sent after status set to cancelled, so it is 4, not 3. Thanks. For subject, we do not support it, but as you said, it is not a big problem anyway
