Small issue with filtering of custom fields

Small issue with filtering of custom fields was created by Martin Herzhauser
Hi,
when I have custom fields which should be visible only for dedicated events I can use the "Field assignment". For what reson ever it is not working if I choose "All selected events" and then mark the events in the drop down. When I choose "Exclude selected Events" and mark all other events then it is working.
I'm not sure but it seems there is a small bug? I can live with it, I just want to give a hint.

Hi Martin

It should work with All Selected Events, too. Do you have categories assignment in same screen? If so, please see docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/basi...om-fields-assignment for instructions (your case is in #5)

Yes I have configured it as described in #5, but it seems the filtering is not working then, the field shows up in all events.

The oher way around I described is working.

That's strange. For this, better submit a support ticket so that we can check it directly on your site to see what's wrong and get it corrected

BTW, if you do not need to assign custom fields to categories, go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Custom Fields Assignment config option to Only Events. That would make the assignment settings easier to understand and works well for your case without needing me to check it
