Event Field Language was created by Kaitie
Hello,
I have a multilingual site with some custom event fields and a frontend submit form.
When add a language on the field, it works perfectly for displaying the events on the frontend, but all of the fields still display in the frontend submit form. Is it possible to have the fields only dusplay on their specified language if they have one?
Thank you,
Kaitie

Sorry.
I created custom event fields in the configuration and added a language (language="fr-FR" or language="en-GB") to some of the fields.
I would like the fields with fr-FR to appear on my french frontend event submit form and the en-EN ones to appear on the english frontend submit form. The backend form would display all fields.
Is this a possibility?
Thanks!
Kaitie

Hi Kaitie
It is not possible for now. But I will try to handle that (maybe next release or earlier). Will update you when it is ready

I decided that to be safe, this can only be implemented as override. You can get this file, unzip it, upload to templates/template_name/html/com_eventbooking/event folder and it should work as expected (template_name must be replaced with name of the template which you are using on your site)

Thank you - I wasn't expecting it so soon!
I only have on question, if I have a required field in french and I'm in the english frontend form, I get an error for the required french field that does not appear in this form. Is there a way to adjust this?

The easiest way would be disable validation, or do not have these fields required

OK. Use that for now. When I have some free time, I will see if I can help with an override to not validating the field if it is not being displayed in the current language. But for now, just disable validation
