Frontend Submit Redirect was created by Kaitie
Hello,
I have a multilingual site where public users can submit events on the frontend. On submission, I would like the user to be redirected to a thank you page in the correct language.
In the configuration I've tried several things in the 'Submit Event Redirect URL' field and have the same result every time. Rather than sending me to the URL I enter, it seems to be trying to send me to a frontend login page that I don't have/require: /fr/component/users/login?return=aW5kZXgucGhwP0l0ZW1pZD0xNTc1&Itemid=108. Screenshot is attached.
Is there a way to redirect to the correct pages?
Thank you
Kaitie

Hi
What URL you configured to redirect users to after submitting event? Maybe that URL require users to login to access and that's the reason causing the error ?
Regards,
Tuan

The menu item and article are both set to public.
I've tried entering the full URL as site.ca/fr/merci and just /merci but neither worked.

What happens when you access to that URL manually? Does it require you to login to access?

If so, I have no clue. For this, please submit a support ticket sending us:
1. Super user account of your site
2. Link to submit event page
3. URL of the page you expect users to be redirected to after submit
I will check to see why it is not working as expected and find a solution
