child events and search

Hi, I have setup a recurring (free) event, and use a search bar on the upcoming event list page. The first event is displayed with the child events attached. However, if I search for events in the next month, the event is not shown, even if there is a child event available to attend.

Do I miss a setting somewhere?

Found it! It is a setting on the upcoming events menu item.
