Sorting was created by Erik Lennartsson
Hi folks!
In spite of having handled the booking program for our association for more than a year, it was today I saw that sorting does not handle the characters åäö and ÅÄÖ. The characters are used in Scandinavian languages. ä and ö are used also in German. What happening is that å and ä is considered as an a . The letter Ö and ö is sorted with letter O.
Is there a way to force EB to using UTF8?
Best regards
Erik Lennartsson

Hi Tuan.
Sorry about that.
The sorting error occurs in the Registrants list in both Backend and Frontpage for logged in admins.
The same sorting error occurs in the Event list from Backend.
All the best

Hi Erik
Please access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package of Events Booking, update it to your site
Then access to domain.com/administrator/index.php?optio...l.convert_to_utf8mb4
Replace domain.com/administrator by administrator URL of your site. That would convert the table to utf8mb4 encoding and should solve the issue
