Using bank transfer with the os_ideal (Mollie) plugin was created by Frans Stuurman
Hi, I recently activated the SEPA transfer with the Mollie os_ideal payment plugin.
Two questions regarding the fact that payment is not completed immediately, but after an action by the customer.
1. I assume that the plugin handles the status of payment in the background? The Mollie help says there is a webhook called when there is a change of payment status, so, that would change the status of registration to payed?
2. I notice that the Mollie payment screen gives a period of two weeks for payment. Um, that can be beyond the start of the event. So, is there a way to change the payment period? At least it should not extend beyond the start of the event.
Thanks for any comments,
Regards,
Frans

Perhaps I am not clear what SEPA transfer is. This is an European method for money transfer between bank accounts.

Hi Frans
1. Yes. It will be handled automatically by the system. However, if someone chooses to use SEPA payment, the registration won't be displayed and not counted until payment completed. Is that OK for you? If not, maybe we will have to rename the plugin to os_offline_mollie. Let me know if hat is needed and I will create the plugin and send it to you
2. This is controlled by Mollie, so you would need to ask Mollie that question. Maybe there is a setting inside Mollie to allow controlling that? Please try to ask Mollie
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan, thanks for quick reply
If the registration is not counted, does that mean it is possible to exceed the maximum allowed registrants for an event? (Not a big deal, as we don't have fixed seats, and it is not expected that a large numer of people will make use of the possibility for bank transfer.)
I asked Mollie how to influence the period of two weeks. Answer: not possible, it is set fixed. I suppose I will add a text on the payment page that we need to have the money on our bank account before start of the event.

Not only it is not being counted, it is also not being displayed on Registrants Management until the payment actually processed
