New Event Not Showing Register Button

Hi. 

We have 80 events we are importing.
1. Exported an event that looks fine on the front end.
2. Used the csv file as a template to add the new events.
3. Tested the first one and all looks good except the event is not showing the Register button. 

We spent some time trying to figure it out and are puzzled.

For this, we will need to check it directly on your site. Please submit a support ticket sending us super user account of your site and link to the page your events are being displayed

I will check to see why the issue happens and get it sorted

The date of the event is in the past: this is likely why the register button is unavailable.
There's also one event that ends months before it starts.

Hi Melissa, thanks for your answer.

I was hoping that was it. I updated the dates, that did not help.
The register button is still not showing.

Edit: Went back to the event, confirmed the event cut off date and changed it to the future. Bingo! That did it.

Ah, Yes. As explained via support ticket, if you set Cut Off Date for the event, registration for that event won't be available from that date. If Cut Off Date is empty, registration won't be available after event started (Compare the current date time with Event Date)

So you can set Cut Off Date of the event to a future date as you said or if you want to allow registration until event started, just remove the Cut Off Date of that event
