Export registrants - Numeric format for amounts has changed in xlsx file was created by van Dyk
Hi Tuan,
I updated EB on my client's website from 4 to 5.0.0 version.
He regularly exports the list of registrant in xlsx format.
It seems that the numeric format of amounts has changed in the xlsx file.
In EB configuration, the settings are :
Decimal Point : .
Thousands Separator : ,
I don't know if it is linked to the export format file but, before the update of EB, the format of the numbers in the file was like that :
before : 1,530 (english format for thousands separators)
now : 1530 (french format format for thousands separators)
and number of decimals is now 2, as it was zero before :
before : 68
now : 68.31
So it makes errors in the amounts in the file.
Can you tell me if something has changed and if we can go back to the first format ?
Regards,
Catherine

Hi Catherine
Most customers need data for amount fields exported in number format (so that they can manipulate data from exported fields if needed), so we do not use number format configured in the extension anymore
In short, these amounts will be converted to float data type so that it will be exported in number format in the exported file
