Hide Events on Public Calendar? was created by Taylor Pyles
I am not sure how to do this, or if it is even possible.
We are a non-profit and we have 2 types of events. We have ‘Public Events’ that the general public should be able to see on our upcoming events page.
The second type of event we have is for families that our non-profit serves. We host private events for them and do not want the general public to see these events on the upcoming events page….but we do want families to be able to register for these events.
I want to find a way to allow registrations for the families without the event showing to the public. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Taylor
For those you want to allow registering for private events, do they have user accounts on your site? If Yes, can you assign them to certain user group ?

Thank You Tuan. They wouldn’t have user accounts within the site. My hope was to email a link to them for registration for the event.

Hi Taylor
There is workaround to setup it.
1. Edit the event, set Hidden to Yes so that it won't be displayed
2. Then create hidden menu item to link to that event
3. Send link (created by that menu item) to the users you want to allow them to view and register for that event
Regards,
Tuan
