Hi Marcelle

Could be because your mail server could not deliver email to target email address for some reasons. See docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/trou...tings/use-email-logs for instructions to check it further

Hi Tuan,
We are having same issues... emails are not getting through to the recipients. It is inconsistent... sometimes some get through, sometimes not. Sometimes registrant does, sometimes not. Sometimes admins do, sometimes not. I submitted a ticket. I checked with host and got email logs and Events Booking emails are showing as "from a script" and getting spam blocked and not delivered to recipients in many cases. Weird that some do get through. This issue seemed to show up in the last few weeks. Today, sometimes NO emails get through and sometimes some get through. Something or somethings changed somewhere to cause this. I also worked with Google for Gmail MX settings, etc. I think the root cause is something to do with how Events Booking is sending emails but not sure. Thanks.

Hi John

Events Booking just calls Joomla API for sending email. It's up to mail server of your hosting provider to deliver email to target email address. So if the mail server could not deliver email, it is out of control of Events Booking

So you will need to ask your host to check to see why email is not being delivered like that? Anything we can do from our side to help us delivery better and get back to us with their answer

The hosting tech said:

"The message was not delivered as it was marked as spam by our antispam solution.

As a hosting provider we have responsibility to check for both incoming and outgoing spam in all emails passing through our servers. The system searches for specific markers commonly found in spam messages and each marker that is found increases the spam score of a message. If high enough spam score is reached then the message is quarantined.

I examined the message and it seems to contain a link *******. That link is reported for spam, so it is best to be removed.

There are other factors that contribute to the spam score like the fact that the message is HTML only, sent via script and sent from an email that indicates some kind of service.

I also see something a bit unusual around the character encoding of the subject."

I removed the link from the custom field message so it wouldn't be sent with the notification emails and did a couple tests and notification emails were delivered.

Hello,

The php_mail() function was disabled. I just reactivated the function.

But it still doesn't work

@Marcelle Strange that function is disabled :D . If it still does not work, please try to configure Joomla to use SMTP mail option and try again to see if it works
