Event Categories module config query

Hi, I am trying to configure the Event Categories module to show a list of categories and numbers las in the Event Booking demo (see attached image 093418103,   ).

In the module config, I can see two layout options: "default" and "grid". Neither give a simple list view:
Grid gives me the result in the attached image 093800617,   )
Default gives me image 093908823,   .

Default is closer but I cannot see how to set this up as a simple list. I guess there is a config setting elsewhere I have missed - can somebody point me in the right direction, please?

Sorry James. For whatever reasons, I missed your post. Default is the layout you should use if you want to have same layout with the one on our demo site

@Bettina I'm sorry. Where did you ask the question? If you still need help, could you please submit a support ticket to Events Booking category so that we can check it?
