Email address in ALL CAPS? Data filter "To Uppercase"? was created by Melissa
This is a 2 part question:
1. What does "data filter to uppercase" do? I couldn't find anything in the documentation about it, and my last event for the year is full so I didn't want to play with it.
2. If I turn this filter on for an email address field, will it give me the email in ALL CAPS? If not, is there anything I can do to get that to happen? I would like email addresses to come in all caps, as I print them and otherwise have to go through a different website to convert them to all caps so I can tell the difference between I and L and 1.
Thanks!
Melissa

Hi Melissa
For your need, you just need to edit the email field, set Data Filter to To Upppercase.
Then when users register for your event, data for email field will be converted to upper case characters before being saved to database
Keep in mind that this will only work for new registrations. For existing registration records, nothing will be changed
Regards,
Tuan
