How to assign to Joomla Groups AFTER checked-in

Hi,

The joomla group for an event (tab "Joomla Group" of an event) is assigned when validating a registration. If i'm not wrong, in the past, the validation was made after check-in...
How can i switch back to assign group after ckecked in, and not after registration validation?

Hi Tuan, and thank you for this answer, that must be the solution!

Unfortunately, i don't understand why that doesn't seem to work. What i made : 

• I publish the plugin, and didn't choose any group in the plugin, for the field : Default User Groups (see attached)
• In the event, I didn't choose any group for Joomla Group (see attached)
• In the event, I choosed the group for "checked in Registrants Settings  (see attached)
• When i make the ckeck in (clicking on the check box), then if i watch in the user params tab "Assigned User Group", nothing change... (see attached).

That worked well when validating the registration (but not my need), but not when validating the ckeck-in... 

Have you any idea?

That's strange to me. For this, could you please submit a support ticket sending us super user account of your site and tell me ID of the test registration record which I can try to checkin and see this error. I'm going to check to see why the issue happens and get it sorted

Ok, that's done, thank you

Just want to update that after checking the site, I figured out that it is not working as expected because on the site there is an override base on code of the old version of the extension. I updated that override and everything is working as expected
