Pay PayPal by smartphone was created by Jean-Luc TREVILLY
Hello, I use Paypal to pay for my events (the standard module)
When a customer registers he is sent to Paypal and can pay by credit card, however this does not work when he registers with a smartphone, he does not have the option of paying by credit card and must go through Paypal.
Is there a setting I missed? The Paypal account is however set to accept payments by credit card but there is a message :

"Your customers can pay without a PayPal account.
When Account Optional is enabled, customers are not required to have a PayPal account. They use another payment method and have the option to open a PayPal account later. PayPal account holders always log in to pay.

This functionality is available for the Buy, Donate, and Cart buttons."

What should I do ? Is your plugin best suited for payment?

Hi

Everything on PayPal website is handled by PayPal, not us / the extension itself. It's strange that the option is not available on the Phone. For this, maybe you will need to contact PayPal technical support and ask them about it

Apparently by using the Paypal plugin provided with eventbooking the Internet user is sent to Paypal
Sometimes a button appears to pay by credit card (capture 3) sometimes you have to enter an email address as if you wanted to connect to the Paypal site (capture 1), then it is possible to pay by credit card (capture 2)
This operation is not intuitive and some Internet users give up because they do not have a Paypal account.
I use the standard Paypal plugin, would it be better to change to another Paypal plugin to make the operation smoother? Incidentally Mollie for example would be more suitable?

As I said, this is controlled by PayPal. PayPal determines whether allows credit card themself. They do not have clear documentation and it is out of our control

There is another payment plugin called EB PayPal Standard Checkout which you can use. It is the recommended payment method by PayPal these days. and always allow credit card payment. If you want to use it, go to joomdonation.com/payment-plugins/events-...payment-plugins.html , purchase and install EB PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin.

It however, requires you to have business PayPal account to use it
