Event Registration Buttons going to old event after update

I hope someone can help me. I have sent a ticket but need some answers quick to get the registration buttons working. After an update this week I see that the Register Individual and Register Group buttons were going to an old event and not the latest event. So displaying a message of this event has now closed. I unpublished the old event but not it says that my event no longer exists, The event details and everything are still visible and it seems this is due to an update maybe? Can anyone help to get the link working for these buttons.
