quick question was created by Pat Kelly
Hi All
a couple of quick questions
can anyone point me in the direction of the donation button I can't find it, I'm using V4.9 and J5.03 on a clean installation
can I display the events without showing the category?
TIA

Hi Pat
1. To accept donation for your event, the simplest solution would be creating a textbox custom fee field and assign it to your event. See docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/basi...ox-custom-field-type
2. I don't understand your questions about display events without showing category. Could you please try to create a menu item to link to Upcoming Events Timeline layout menu item type, then access to that menu item to see if it works for your need ?

Hi Tuan
I'm still having problems with the display of the events,
the grid view is close to what I would like, but that has 2 events side by side
if it were possible to have the grid view this only 1 item per row but display all the information (as per the picture) that would be perfect
Hope that I'm explaining myself correctly

Could you send me link to the page so that I can take a quick look? There could be a parameter to allow you to control that

Here's the link to the page as you will see it is in GRID view, with 2 events side by side if I could get it to display 1 event view that would be brilliant with asc event view

Hi Pat
You can edit the menu item, there is a parameter called Number Columns. Set it to 1 and it should work as you want
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan
I've set it to one as suggested but the grid view still displays 2 collums.
I've turned on the event categories but that doesn't display until clicked then shows all events
I don't know what i have done wrong but somethings not right
think i may have to try an uninstall and reinstall, unless you can suggest something else
