Error after updating to Joomla 5

Hello, I have version 4.8.0 of events booking and after the Joomla update to ver. 5, I have this error:
EventbookingModelCommonRegistrants::buildQueryColumns(): Argument #1 ($query) must be of type JDatabaseQuery, Joomla\Database\Mysql\MysqlQuery given, called in /home/cmvilare/public_http....

Version 5 is fairly old now, I hope there is a solution.

That's strange. That version works well with Joomla 5, so I don't know why the error happens. We even use Joomla 5 in our daily development

You can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can check and correct it for you

you are right, after checking I have version 4.4.3, do I have to buy another licence in order to upgrade?

We provide free upgrade for one year for each purchase. So if you purchased the extension in less than one year, upgrade is free

But if the purchase was older than one year, you will need to buy it again to update
