Hi François
Go to Events Management screen, check on the checkbox next to the event you want to cancel and press Cancel Event button in the toolbar. Then the event will be cancelled

Hi Tuan,
Thank you for your answer. I understood how to cancel an event but in the calendars we do not see that the event is canceled. you have to go into the details of the event to know that it is canceled.
how can I overcome this problem?
Sincerely
François

Hi François
On what other pages you want to show it as cancelled? It is very likely that code modification will be needed to show that cancelled status

Hi Tuan
I would like to display canceled events in the "Upcoming Events" and "Mini Calendar" modules as well as in "Calendar - Monthly Layout"
Can you tell me which files to modify?

Hi François
1. For mini calendar, It is not possible because on that calendar, we do not display event, just list of days in month and when user click on a day, events from that day will be displayed
2. For monthly calendar, the file is components/com_eventbooking/themes/default/calendar/default_calendar.php
3. For upcoming events, it depends on the layout you are using. Could you send me link to the page which I can check ?

Hi Tuan
For the "monthly Calendar" module I modified the file and it works.
For the mini calendar I was thinking of marking “canceled” in the tooltip.
For "Upcoming Events" here is the link:
asg-barbaroux.fr/le-golf/le-parcours
Have a good day

For upcoming events, please try to modify the file modules/mod_eb_events/tmpl/default.php
BTW, please move all change files to template override so that it won't be lost when you update to future releases of the extension
Regards,
Tuan
