Duplicate Registrations on events was created by craig kennedy
I have set prevent duplicate registration to yes on an event. Logged in users and non members (guest) can all register to attend the event. In this instance a registered member to the website has managed to register for this event 5 times, each one is a unique entry ID, Unique Ticket ID and each of the 5 entries were at exactly the same time down to the second? I have a few others like this but with 2 or 3 registrations
How do I stop this happening as its giving a false number of attendies.

Hi craig
That sound strange to me. Could you please send me link to the registration page so that I can take a quick look to see if there is any clue about this issue?

Here is the direct link. Note that I believe the issue is only when its a registered user, so to that extent you can use this registration information

Interestingly enough I ran a few tests today and I was not able to register myself more than one time, yet I had 3 members (registered on the site) register for the event, 2 of them managed to register twice and a third 5 times.
Is it possible some kind of network anomaly can cause this to happen. on the 5 times one the registration time was identical

Hi Craig
1. First of all, you should go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set :
- Load Twitter Bootstrap CSS to No
- Template Frontend Framework to Twitter Bootstrap5
That would make the extension compatible better with your site template and look nicer
2. Back to the issue
I think it happens because these users click on the buttons to quick (kind of double click). You can go to Events Booking -> Configuration, check Reduce Registration Process config option. If that set to Yes, pleas e set it to No.
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
Craig's problem appears to be similar to the one we have been experiencing with 'timeouts' which are resulting in duplicate registrations.
