SquareUP Payment Method

When trying to use the SquareUp payment method I receive the following error on my web events registration form page:

Call to a member function getName() on null

When using the old Paypal version method of payment plugin instead, I do not have this error or issue and the form works as expected.

Please Advise.

Hi Brian

Please edit the event, look at Advanced Settings tab, make sure Payment Methods parameter set to All Payment Methods, then check it again. The error should be gone

I now receive this error after enabling all payment methods in the event.

Sound like you are using wrong payment plugin. The plugin you are using here can only work for Payment Form, not Events Booking.

Yes you are correct, I reorder the correct one. I still receive an error though

Missing nonce data for Square up

But at least now the form shows up correctly.

The website is behind https protocol accordingly.

I found this article on Square Developer, is there a change that needs to be made to the plugin to support the latest API?

Please submit a support ticket sending us:

1. Super user account of your site

2. Link to the page which we can perform registration and see this error

We are going to check to see why the issue happens and get it sorted

Just want to update that we worked together via support ticket and and got the issue sorted. The error happens because the site used an quite old version of the extension and it does not work the new Squareup Card payment plugin
