Add to Email List - Default to on

During registration, we would like the default for the checkbox to add to our (Mailchimp) email list to default to "checked."  Am I missing a setting that will do that?

Could you please make a screenshot showing me that checkbox so that I can understand your question better ?

From the individual-registration page, at the bottom: "I want to subscribe to your e-mail list"

That would require small modification. You can get this file, unzip it, upload the received file to template override:

templates/template_name/html/com_eventbooking/register folder (template_name is name of the template which you are using on your site)

Then it should work as expected
