I'm working through the issues of moving my site from Joomla 3.10 to Joomla 4. I have a full test site and am using the Moneris test environment for credit card transactions. When I attempt to register for an event I get the error:
Registration Failure
Your registration was failure
Reason: Cancelled: Transaction not allowed.No permission for:'cvd_info'
Where is this error originating and what does it mean?
I'm using Joomla 4.3.4, EventBooking 4.6.1, php 8.2.11
Look like there is a problem with the payment process some how. What payment method you are using? I guess you should contact the payment gateway support and ask them about this error. They will tell us the reason and we can check it further
SOLVED - In the payment plugin (Moneris) I changed to the test environment (a code change in os_moneris.php) but forgot to change the store ID in the payment configuration. It was a completely meaningless (and undocumented) error message.
I'm glad you got the issue sorted. Just for the information, the error message is returned directly by the payment gateway, not something from Events Booking, so it is not under our control
