How would a registrant get cancelled without someone specifically doing it????

Is there some setting based on registration status that would trigger a registrant to be cancelled?  Yesterday a registered user for an upcoming event received a letter from the system that his registration was cancelled. I cannot figure out how his registration got cancelled in the first place. I did not do it as the admin and according to login dates no one else who could do it has logged in. Is there some trigger that auto cancels a registered user. It looks like some other registrants may also have been cancelled and they are all Offline registrants. However, only a few (not all)  Offline registrants were cancelled. So how does this happen????

Any help on this would be appreciated!

What payment method the registrant is using for the registration? If he is using offline payment method, maybe it causes by this plugin eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/plugins/offline-payment-handle

Basically, that plugin can cancel the registration if no payment processed after certain number of days. If that is the case, you can :

- Disable the plugin
- Or edit the plugin, change Number Days To Cancel Registration parameter to 0

That was it. I had a vague memory of something like this but could not find it. I disabled the plugin.
