Parent and Child without a separate set of registrants for each event? was created by Craig Scherbarth
A few years ago I started a thread asking a question about recurring/child events. I've looked through the forum and also created an event to see if anything was changed. I'm not sure if it was as I couldn't get it to work how I was hoping, or if people just didn't have the need for this option and it wasn't made (which is what I'm guessing)
I'm running a training session that runs 6 weeks and is on every Monday for those 6 weeks. I need the registrants for the main event, to be the same registrants for the child events with no re-registering. I'm hoping to do this so the calendar shows every time the event is and so that it sends out a reminder for the person to be there.
My original thread was here, if that helps - joomdonation.com/forum/events-booking-ge...-recurring-date.html
Thanks!

Hi Craig
There is a workaround to setup it :
1. Edit your children events, set Registration Type to Disable Registration. So users cannot register for these children events
2. Use this plugin eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/plugins/auto-registration , configure main/parent event to register automatically registrants of that event to all children events
3. Remember that in Events Booking - Auto register plugin (#2) above, set Check Accept Registration parameter to No (so that the system can still register users to these children events even Registration Type set to Disable Registration)
That should work for your need
Regards,
Tuan
