The Terms and Conditions Check Box Disappeared

When I initially set up the registration, everything appeared fine. Now, the terms and conditions check box is gone even though it shows on the back end as being enabled, and set to appear and required to be checked before registration is completed.

Likewise my site has no kind of T&C acceptance at all despite being enabled and an article being selected in the back end, both in global configuration and on each individual event.

Site going live imminently - am going to have to hard-code it at this rate.
