ACL Categories

Hi 

I've been trying to setup events that can only been seen by users in specific Joomla ACLs / Groups. I've successfully manage to use the settings at the event level to restrict specific events. Is it possible to have this similar restriction at the Category level that overrides the event level setting? I've tried the Access Level on the Category but this didn't seem to make any difference.
 
ACLs

• Skilled users
• Un-skilled users

Categories

• Skilled events - event only accessible to users in the Skilled Users ACL
• Un-skilled events  - event only accessible to users in the Un-Skilled Users ACL

Hi Dave

The access level setting inside the category only control who can see that category (in categories list), it does not control who can view events from that category

So to control who can view certain event, you will need to use Access Level setting inside each event
