Payment Processing - Moving to Stripe, which payment plugin to use?

HI Tuan,
We are looking at moving our most of our payment processing from PayPal to Stripe both for Events Booking and Membership Pro.
I realise we will have to purchase the Stripe Payment Plugins. I am not sure which to choose  EB Stripe or EB Stripe Checkout?
Can you tell me the differences on they work on both EB and MP?
One other question. Some of our users might want to continue to use PayPal to pay if they have a PayPal account. We are not sure how many? Is it possible in the PayPal checkout only to allow pay by PayPal?

1. For EB Stripe and EB Stripe Checkout, see eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/faqs/stripe-vs-stripe-checkout to understand the difference between the two and choose the one works for your need

2. For PayPal, we do not have option to just allow making payment using PayPal account. Both PayPal and Credit Card is enabled and that's handled automatically by PayPal, we could not disable it

Ah, for disable credit card option from PayPal, maybe you can try to edit the payment plugin, change Disable funding parameter to disable Credit or debit cards from there to see if it is disabled ?

It looks like for us in the UK we may have to go for EB Stripe Checkout  to avoid declined payments to to SCA rules brought in in 2019 for the European Area.
Even though the UK Left the Union in 2020, I suspect these rules still apply.

OK David, Stripe Checkout also offer more payment options while EB Stripe only offer credit card payment. So EB Stripe Checkout could be a right choice
