limit front end submission form? was created by Kimberley
Hi Guys!
Is there a way to limit front end submission fields?
We would like to keep the registration and payment fields for backend / admin use only (in house events) while allowing registered users to add their own events to the calendar, but without any registration or payment options on our site. Just the event time, date, description etc - so they populate the calendar and the timeline, but all actual functions for them would be processed by them.
Can you work your magic?
Thanks for any help!

Hello
Please go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Submit Event Form Fields tab, you can choose to show/hide the fields you want from there
Regards,
Tuan

oh man!!! I was in that exact area adding custom fields and didn't even look. SORRY!!!
Exactly what I was looking for, spectacular product, and excellent tech support - just wanted to mention that.

of course - so that hid most of what I need to hide - is there a way to hide the Agenda, Speakers, Sponsors and Ticket type tabs completely from the front end submissions?
We just want to show the basic and recurring settings tabs.
Can it be done? Thanks for any help!

Hello
Yes. It is possible. Just go to Extensions -> Plugins, find these plugins. Click on it to edit, set Show On Frontend parameter to No and it won't be shown on frontend event submission form
Regards,
Tuan
