Remove Apply Button was created by armagh
Hi,
On the page where people can add an event themselves from the front end on my website there are two buttons Save and Apply.(See screenshot) I think this is really confusing for readers and am trying to work out how to get rid of the apply button and just keep the save one. I don't know what apply does that save doesn't.
Thank you.

Hello
The difference is that :
1. Apply save the event, then redirect users back to edit event screen so that they can make change further if needed
2. Save just save the event, then close edit screen and redirect users back to events management page
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks for your reply. That makes sense ok but maybe confuses people with two choices? I am trying to work out why people who think they have added an event on my page at
www.newry.ie/events/add-event
haven't actually added it.
Maybe it is possible that they have accidentally clicked the cancel button instead of save saying they are close to each other. Again perhaps the cancel button isn't needed as people can just leave the browser.
When readers click apply or cancel they are redirected away from their event detail page to a login page. Is there somewhere I can change this and get them to stay on page when they click apply?
Thank you

Hello
Clicking on Apply button should have the event saved and users will stay on the same page
If not, then there is something not working on your site. You can submit a support ticket sending us :
1. Super admin account of your site
2. Link to the page
3. An account which can be used to access to that page, click on Apply button and see the issue
I will check to see what's wrong and get it sorted
