Session Expiration?

I will open a support ticket if necessary but wanted to post in here first to see if someone else has solved this and I'm missing something...
On Group Registration only, there is an error: "Sorry! Your registration cannot be saved due to session expiration." This is a new error: I've had Group Registrations come in for all events previously. I'm not sure when it started, though: the last group registration that came in - without error - was on May 21 but there's been only individual registrations since then. I've tried this on all available events and on both mobile and laptop, and it doesn't appear to be a user error. I've checked settings and I can't see anything that would be causing this.
I am running EB ver 4.4.0 - I just downloaded 4.5.0 but will wait for feedback before I install it.
Has anyone else experienced this?
