replace event list with calendar

I don't think we are going to need it.

Even if we do needed it in the future, we can always revert to the original mini calendar, where they can choose individual or group before registering.

Can we make the mini calendar to display the dates of the specific event, or should I create subcategories and assign each event o one category so it can display only that from the options?

The mini calendar module does not allow displaying dates of specific event. So if you want to have it works like that, you will need to customize the module yourself (or make a clone of the module)

The solution for create categories might work, but I don't know if it is the right way to go. I imagine that for each parent event like that, you will need to have a category , so it will be end up with many categories created
