We have a couple of registrants who have booked and paid as a group but they want to transfer to another event. What is the best way of doing this?
I was thinking of cancelling their current bookings and setting up new bookings and marking them as paid but wasn't sure if I could do this by cancelling the Group entry of if I needed to cancel both the individual entries and the group entry?
How about editing the group billing record, and update the event to the new event? That would be simpler than cancelling and then setup new booking, I think

Thank you, it worked a treat. The registrants were transferred to the new event and the spaces available were adjusted correctly. All I needed to do was to resend the email with the new tickets.
