Cancellation Notifications

Cancellation Notifications was created by David Unwin
We have set up a category of events whereby we ask for notifications to be sent to another email address apart from the Event Owner. (see screen shot).
They do get an email when the user registers. However the user of this email is saying they do not get a notification when a user cancels their registration. The creator of the event is also saying the same. The cancel notification does go to the email in the NOTIFICATIONS EMAIL config option .
Is this correct or should notification emails go to the event creator and the email on the category notifications???

Could you please update your site to latest version of Events Booking (4.5.0), then get this updated file, unzip it, upload the received file to components/com_eventbooking/helper folder, then check it again and let me know if it works

Hi Tuan,
I updated to EB 4.5.0.
I renamed the existing mail.php to mail.xxx
I then uploaded the mail.php as your requested. I then created a test event. Everything ok
I then registered for the test event. That went ok.
But when I tried to cancel the event I got a message 'Invalid Action' . I could not cancel the event.
I then went into the back end and cancelled the user registration there. That worked but not emails were sent to the email addresses in the Notifications emails for the category.
I decided to back out the change and rename maiil.xxx back to mail.php.
I then did another test. I was able to cancel my booking on the front end, but no emails were sent to the email addresses in the Notifications emails for the category.
So the status is I have updated to EB 4.5.0 but the mail.php is as delivered with this update

Just tested and it is working well here. In your case, could you please check and make sure the registration record which you are cancelling is associated with your user account?

Hi Tuan,
I am sure it was the right registration record as I logged in as a normal user and did the booking and cancellation with that user. Also no email was generated when I cancelled the booking at the back end (administrator), so I thought the notification emails would be generated then??
I will test again this evening an take some screen shots this time.
