Event Registrants Export Date Time fields + Monetary fields exported incorrectly

This is a problem that keeps re-appearing for us and not sure if there is an answer at the Moment
In our Config setting we set export as XLS and our date fields set as format l, jS F, Y  g:i a so our dates display like this Wednesday, 31st May, 2023 18:00. 
When we export our registrants data the Date fields are exported as text fields ie  'Monday, 15th May, 2023  07:43:44' 
Also all the monetary fields also get exported with a quote mark (') before the number.
This means 2 things
1. we can't analyse or sort date on our  registrations by Date 
2. We can't analyse revenue as the fields are classed as text.
We can get around the 2nd problem by exporting the data as CSV , then the monetary fields are number fields, but that does not help with Problem 1.

I just hope you can find a fix for this some time.

I don't see the Events Booking - Spout (XLSX/CSV Handle) plugin on our list of plugins????

Forget my last comment, it looks like Spout facility has been archived and no longer used See github.com/box/spout
