Problems with SMTP ...

I had problems when I wanted to send several reminder emails at once. I am using PHP Mail (in Joomla Configuration) and wanted to switch to SMTP. Unfortunately, users now receive an error message.

 

When i send a testmail within Joomla!-Confirguration everything seems fine. Do i have to do some changes somewhere in the Eventbooking Settings?

Hello Chris

Maybe the SMTP server you are using do not allow using Custom From Name and From Email ?

Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Mail Settings tab, try to remove From Name and From Email you entered there (so that the system will uses From name and From Email in global configuration), then try again to see if it works ?
