1406 Data too long for column 'original_string' at row 1

Get the following error after the last update of events booking.

1406 Data too long for column 'original_string' at row 1

Please advise urgently.

That is not a field belong to Events Booking. Not sure what you did and got that error ?

I reinstalled version 4.4.3 and did not get the same error. I could register without any issues. After installing 4.4.4 again I get the same error again.

So it must be an issue somewhere between the two versions that is causing the issue.

That's strange to me. Please submit a support ticket sending me super admin account of your site and tell me what I need to do to see that error

I will check to see why the issue happens and get it sorted

I have a current event running that needs to register from today. The current 4.4.3 is working now, so I will check after 18 April when the event is finished what is happening on the 4.4.4 install and let you know.

Do not want to mess around with the current event.

What I could trace on the internet is the following:Proposed resolution:"so, remove the \r from config file, import it then export it again, file will be cleaned up, then propagate that cleaned up file"

I have not checked the config file if there is a /r or not.

To be honest, I have no clue about this error. It could be because something related to PDF invoice or PDF ticket (we updated TCDF library recently)

So we will have to check it directly on your site when you are ready

I think I found the problem.

It is a plugin called Security Check Logs that has the column 'original_string'.

Great. Not sure why it affects Events Booking. Hope you can figure out
