routing problem after migration to Joomla!4 was created by p.barg
Hello,
after migrating a site from Joomla!3 to Joomla!4 I'm encountering a routing problem for the timeline layout (module).
The links in there (to event details and registration page) seem to be loosing their itemid. Thus, on the corresponding pages
modules are displayed which are assigned only to the start page. If I disable SEF, the problem disappears.
Any hints on how to overcome this?
Thanks, Petra

What version of the extension you are using? And do you have any override for that layout?

Hello Tuan,
we use version 4.3.0.
We do have overrides, but I deactivated them to test and the problem persists. We have the same version (and overrides) on the J3-installation and there the problem does not occur.

There must be something special on your site causing the issue because the extension works well for Joomla 4. For this, better submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to the page which I can see the issue
I will check to see why the issue happens and get it sorted
Regards,
Tuan

Hello
Just want to update that the issue here could be sorted easily by creating a hidden menu item. We worked together via support ticket and got the issue sorted
