Multiple Ticket Types using one capacity amount was created by Andrew Stouder
Hello,
I've just started using Events Booking. I have encountered an issue and I have not found the solution yet. I want to setup an event that has a capacity of 300 with three different ticket prices based on age (adults, children, and under 3). Using Ticket Types seems to be the best option, but I do not want to split up my capacity between the three ticket types. Instead, I want the total capacity count to be reduced when any of the ticket types are sold. Is it possible to have one capacity and have the three ticket types decrease that number instead of setting a capacity for each ticket type to totals the full capacity for the event?

Hello
Yes. You can set Capacity of event to 300 and leave capacity of each ticket type empty and it will work as you want
Regards,
Tuan

Thank you for your and your team's hard work in supplying us as users with wonderful products that you keep on improving.
I have a situation where we might have a capacity of say 120 registrants. I now need under ticket types, 30 Registrants and then I have 10 Sponsorship opportunities. The 10 sponsorship opportunities, must not add to the total capacity of 120. They must be kept separate, but the total money amount must add up.
Is there a way that this can be used in Multiple ticket types or will additional fields work better in this instance?
Otherwise, I must indicate my total capacity as 140.
I see that when I have the 130 tickets it also adds the multiple ticket types as extra to the total for the event that was booked. So if someone just takes the sponsorship but no registrants, it adds 2 to the total registered. instead of just one Sponsorship?
In the above, I have now increased the Capacity to 36, which is 24 Teams plus 12 Sponsors. Registered indicates that 5 were registered. However on the detail only 1 team was registered and 2 sponsors as indicated in the below attachment,
How do I fix this? If I leave the Team Registration capacity empty and keep the 36 in Capacity, it enters the 36 into the team registration.
Please advise.

Hi Wynand
How about set Weight of the Sponsorship ticket type to 0 so that the amount for that ticket type won't be counted into total registered users of the registration/event ?

Hello Tua
Thank you for your feedback. I left the team registration weight with one and change the Sponsors to zero. That seems to have done the trick. Will just see if I use two teams if it deducts two from the total.

Tested that and it is working. I think my weight of 2 on the sponsor instead of zero is what caused the problem.
Thanks
