Strange registrations was created by Bettin
Hello,
on a website it happens that there are registrations for past events. These events are no longer published. In the registration, all fields are filled in with the number 1. For example, email, it cannot be sent with entry 1 at all, because of the validation in frontend. Does anyone understand what is happening there? Is there something wrong with the website?
Kind Regards
Bettin

Hello
This is related to other component but its very similar.
I am long term "membership pro" user I also noticed high activity related to spam registrations.
They are able to avoid "I am not a robot" captcha which we have enabled.
I would like to avoid need to add more complex catpcha because it is known to deter fresh users.
Imho one way would be to incorporate honeypot option when form doesn't send if fake hidden field is filled.
I use contact forms with honeypot on my websites and I never got any spam through them.
Except manually generated spam but this is inevitable.

Hello
If you go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, there is an Anti-Spams Settings tab which incorporate honeypot option already. So unless you are not using latest version or having override base on code of old version, honeypot is already integrated
