I cannot add location - getting error where map should display:
Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.
I've read documentation for adding locations to events but it does not cover the issue I'm having.

Hello Joanne
In short, you need to have a valid Google Map API Key and enter it into Google Map API Key config option in Events Booking. Or easier solution would be going to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Map Provider config option to OpenStreetMap to use OpenStreetMap instead of Google Map (it does not require an API Key)
Regards,
Tuan
