Date of Birth Field - Export Issue

I have a form where I need to capture date of birth and that's working great. If I look at the record in the Joomla backend, it's there.

However, when I export it, it's converted a date like 4/19/16 to Monday, April 18.

Is there a way to force the export to use the full date?

It should be exported as how it is. Not sure why the date is changed like that. Maybe you can submit a support ticket so that I can check it directly on your site?
