Update-Fail was created by Toro
Hello there,
I'm tried to update the component, but only get error messages. - I tried a few times, results are always the same.
All other extension-updates worked fine on this site, and as you can see in screenshot, there is a 403-Error on your link.
Please see attached screenshots for details.
What to do?
Thanks

Hello
It could be because you are using a Download ID which is used for different site before. Go to joomdonation.com/download-ids.html , generate new Download ID and update it to Events Booking on the site and try again, it should work well
And just in case it is not working, please make sure you have Installer - Events Booking plugin enabled, too
Regards,
Tuan

Thank You Tuan
Yes, I did the updates first on my localhost ... and now tried it online. both have the same id and probably that's why the updates online gave me an error.
However, changing the id wasn't as easy as it sounds, because since I did the update to Joomla-4.2.2, a few items in event-booking couldn't be edited any longer (for example the event-page) and the configuration-page couldn't be opened at all ... that were the id is.
So i quickly went into the db and changed the id there.
Update was now successful and everything works again.
Thanks again.

OK. Just for information, there was a small backward incompatible change in Joomla 4.2.0 and it causes that error in Events Booking. Update to latest version of Events Booking would solve the issue
In the future, instead of changing via database like that, you can download latest package and upgrade it to your site manually
Regards,
Tuan
