Male & female registration

Hi,

Is there a way to restrict the number of attendees by gender for an event.

For example, an event for 12 people, but only 6 male and 6 female can sign up.

There are two options here :

1. Use Ticket Types eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/plugins/ticket-types . Basically, the idea is create two ticket types: Make and Female and configured Capacity for each ticket type

2. Not reliable in case your site has high traffic (multiple users choose the same option at the same time) but should work. That's using Custom Fields Quantity feature, see eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...ustom-field-quantity

The idea is create a custom field quantity with two options Male, Female and configure quantity for each option

Hi,

I need to have different types of entries for my events: Male, Female, Coach
The early bird and late fees should apply to the Male and Female entries only, not for the coach (the coach should have a fixed fee at all times).

Is there a way to solve this with the ticket plugin ?

Sorry Markus. There is not a way to handle this requirement. Maybe you would have to create a separate event for coach and apply a different discount rule for that event

Follow up question: If I work with tickets, can I also use early bird and late fees then ? I only saw something with % in the ticket settings.

Also, when I use tickets, in the payment field it gives me the original event fee plus the late fee plus the ticket fee...

Yes, you can still use early bird discount and late fee. But it is a setting for the event, so it will only calculate base on total registration fee. You cannot setup separate early bird discount and late fee for each ticket type

You should set the Price of event to 0 in this case. If you worry that the system will display Price of the event as Free, you can enter some text into Price Text setting of the event and that text will be displayed (instead of Free text)
