PayPal provided plugin throwing an error when signing into PayPal

We gave Joomla V3.10 and Events Booking 4.2.1.  In the Payment Options I have published PayPal.  However, when a user tries to check out using PayPal they get shown a PayPal login screen (after the message "Please wait while we redirect you to PayPal"). Entering a valid username and password, tried by myself as well, I receive the error "Some of your info isn't correct. Please try again".   

However, logging into PayPal directly on PayPal.com, from a different tab, with exactly the same username and password the login is successful.

Can you tell me why this is happening?

Hello

The login process there is handled by PayPal completely, not by Events Booking. So you would need to contact PayPal and ask them about it

One thing I can guess is that maybe it is because you are logging in using the same PayPal account with the PayPal account which is receiving payment and PayPal does not allow that ?

You can send me link to registration form so that I can try to register and login using my PayPal account to see if it works ?

Here is the link to register for the event. Since most input is text you can put garbage in there for testing and then try to pay.

Look like PayPal payment plugin is not enabled? I only see credit card payment option on the site

Yeah, you found it off and I meant to turn it on last night my time. I'll leave it on for 24hrs. Just turned it back on at 9:58am EDT Sorry!

Hello

Look like you set PayPal payment plugin to Test Mode ? In this test mode, it worked OK for me. I were able to complete the registration without any problem/error

Oh dear, my bad for sure! I'm sorry I made you spend time on this! It has been a looong time since I've had to set up a new app with payment options and I totally forgot to set up the payment option before inputting the data needed for it to work. My apologies!
