Refund Facility from Paypal Standard Checkout

I have just bee looking at the refund facility.

We do not use this yet as we tend to do manual refunds through our PayPal account.
We do have issues though that when someone books an event they may use one email address for the booking, but then they have PayPal account with a different address. We then have to look through our PayPal account to do the refund.
We use Paypal Standard Checkout plugin
So I have 2 questions.
1)Does the Refund Registration feature work if the PayPal email address of the person booking is different to the email address they booked the event with as that is the email address we see in Event Booking?
2) Does it work if someone pays by credit/debit card to our PayPal account?

I don't think it will work with PayPal Standard Checkout as there are not the plugin parameters as in the Standard PayPal plugin See below
