Custom Field Quantity not working

Custom Field Quantity not working was created by Alison
I have set up an event with a custom field 'Quantity' for the event
CiLCA Networking and Mentoring Session - Individual Registration (walc.org.uk)
The choices are
Available mentoring slots
10:00 to 10:30 am
10:30 to 11:00 am
11:00 to 11:30 am
I do not need a mentoring slot this time
The 3 timed slots each have a Quantity Value of "1" and the "I do not need...." has a value of 10
But when I register for the first time slot it is still available to others to book.
Not sure what I have misssed and where I am going wrong, can you see the problem?

Hello Alison
1. If it is possible, I would suggest you to use Ticket Types plugin instead of Custom Field quantity, it's more reliable. See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/plugins/ticket-types
2. For your case, please note that:
- If you are using a super admin account for example while registering the event, the system won't check the quantity limit for the field option
- Or if your previous booking is not valid (you use online payment method such as PayPal but does not make payment), the option will still be available
I guess one of the two options above are applied for your case. Could you please check that?
