Alias when copying events was created by Trevor Smith
Hi
We have events which are the same each time except for the date so to enter the new event the admins copy the previous event and change the title and the dates. The event saves OK without errors and it is displayed properly on the front end. However when a visitor tries to register for the event they get an error:
Would it be an idea to automatically clear the alias when an event is copied or at least issue a duplicate alias warning?
Best regards
Trevor

When I tested it, it is working OK for me. There is a number added to the original alias, so the Alias is changed, not the same with original event
In your case, when you use Save As Copy, the new event is the same with original event ?

OK. Thanks Trevor. If you have a clear step by step what I need to do to see the error, I will be happy to check it
