Group registration and Checkin

I needed to allow registered members of a site the option of adding a couple of guests to an event, so I enabled group registrations, and this sort of works well, however the member does not appear to be registered while the group member is, and the checkin works for them.

Is there any way to achieve the following options.

1. Registered member signs into the site, and selects group registration, and upon submitting their additional peoiple they themselves are also registered for the event?
2. Any way to have each member that registered for the event receive a coupon code that can be sent to others so they can register at no cost?

1. It should work exactly like that for group registration. Exactly what's not working or what is the problem in your case ?

2. Unfortunately, it is not supported
